the time,  31200 the other 50%.

 The Rockwell will not get up to 33600 with the Courier due to the Courier.
 Nothing to do with the Trellis coding.  It has to do with the bugs in
early Rockwell V.34 chips and the Courier taking evasive action because of
this.  Also I believe that there is some dispute between Rockwell / USR on
interpreting the V.34 standard with regards to negotiation of the protocol,
 something about the maximum bit rate they claim to support.
 
 But Supra for one have taken action on this and modified their firmware to
overcome the problem,  pity others haven't so far done so.
