Definetly not.  I've had some good experiences with people in the past,

It can and does work but only with people who are of like mind on this
particular issue.  I am sure we are.

Possibly.  I've been known to get silly about serious discussions.  I am
sure we would have no difficulties resolving anything dramatic ...
eventually.
