= 3:20:26 CONNECT 31200/ARQ/LAPM/NONE
+ 3:20:31 Metric Malfunctions Line 2, 3:632/372

Or with the latest ROMs

+ 3:20:04 Calling Metric Malfunctions 2, 3:632/372, 9305-5297
= 3:20:26 CONNECT 33600/ARQ/LAPM/NONE
+ 3:20:41 Metric Malfunctions Line 2, 3:632/372

Actually, I'm not running the latest ROMs (all 33.6 ROMs are beta) because
there are other bugs with it which make it unusable for me.

Not a good test. During a connection the exchange provides +10V dc, which will
not be present on this loopback test. It works with a lot of modems but is
not guaranteed.

With early Supra 33.6 ROMs (like the one I'm using) it would not connect with
Courier at 33.6. However, this was due to the USR believing it could not
obtain a 33.6 connect with a Rockwell or something to this effect, and
Supra fixed it with some modifications (eg kludges for USR's bugs).

Hamish
