That is a good way to look at it. I'm just working on getting better at
letting go after I've learned the lessons from the painful memories. It's
always been difficult for me, and I know from talking with other people that
I'm not the only one who has a rough time. My friend put it well, he calls it
his 'nightly revisitation hour' where all of the things even back in
gradeschool and stuff, whatever your mind wants to throw at you, goes active.
I just call mine the ghost of eff-ups past, but it's the same thing.

Definitely working on that. Just trying to find out if there are any other
techniques that I haven't thought of that might help me work through things a
little bit faster. Thank god I never went to Iraq/Afghanistan.
