AM> Any suggestions on what to look for in my area.ctl that might be AM> causing problems? I was using a single area file and had some message AM> and file areas sharing a common area definition. From 2 to 3, there are major changes in the msgarea.ctl file format. Have a look at them. My conversion took around a few minutes using a Qedit macro. It's just that, no other major change needed (apart filearea.ctl which has similar format changes but dealing with those were much easier, it took only a few seconds writing a macro and running it). You may have to look at max.ctl too, just to see anything is out of place. Automatic conversion did foule up, I had to intervene but it didn't take neither much time nor trouble. ...
