I just realized that one thing which would not pass through a
"gateway" to the alt.moose newsgroup would be stuff like the
high-ASCII graphic of the Excited States flag that "Dubya" has been
using in his messages.  Thinking about how those messages would look
makes me glad that I never adopted my high-ASCII portrait, but stayed
with my funky old signature picture.

Well, it's not as if Ian or Bill did that.  I propose that we just
