Due to the size of JAR and the machine requirements (very slow on older
machines) as well as the difficulty of supporting various ARJ features, ARJ
will still be supported. JAR is a real resource hog. It will use from 1/2
MB to 8MB or more of RAM for compression. The more the merrier. The JAR
archive format is very complex.
