It seems to me that I'm the last Mochican (or Blue Leg or Big Foot or Sasquatch, or what?) because I use dos machines for terminals (telnet) to unix? What about you? This stuff (Tamagouchy for adults, win95/98/NT, you must play with it, feed it, be gentle, but at last, it will gone, however) I do not want install to this PCs because I must work on it, not play, or infinity install. Same for Linux user, who must almost every week relink kernel, or remove "beep" or whatever. Well, I must work with my machines. And this is ok, but now, I want somehow to be able to mount dos disks/partitions on this way that unix (SCO) can see it. Lawrence told me about SMB but(!) this VisionFS do not exist ready for SCO v3.2. Also, if it exists, I don't know can I install it on SCO without damage existing NFS? Second thing is - if SCO couldn't see the client's dos partition, but what is lp spool. If I have PC-NFS on dos engine, then I can approch from the unix to the printer which is on this pc. And what is this? Give me some idea how to get (backup) files from dos machine. DAT is on unix. Dos machine can telnet to this unix machine, but also XFS (nfs is in function - unix partition dos can see). --- PCBoard (R) v15.4/M 10 Beta* Origin: KrBa (1:2320/38.7) SEEN-BY: 396/1 632/0 371 633/260 267 270 284 371 634/397 635/444 506 725 728 SEEN-BY: 639/252 @PATH: 2320/38 270/101 396/1 633/260 635/506 728 633/267 |
