Rick,

Don't let anybody scare you off of the 6-point design because of the
supposed problem with refocussing.  The change in focal length only amounts
to 0.0013 inch.  Even a ccd imager would have trouble blaming out of focus
images on this small shift.  For visual use, or even most photographic or
ccd use, you won't notice.

There are also a fair number of atm's who got used to the look of the old
cells and just don't seem to be able to accept that quantitative
engineering in the form of Plop is a more reliable guide to the behavior of
a mirror than their intuition.  I would go with Plop.
