Dear Valery:
Please accept my apologies, for I think I did not respond to one of your
messages when I was back in Reno, NV. When I first found the Vfalsac conf.,
I was the greenest PC user & still greener at BBS's. Had lots of problems
getting myself equipped w/programs, help, and time to do my search for help
with my daughter's case. Overwhelmed. When I finally began to get regular
on BBS's, we had to pack, move & drive, unpack, resettle.... It was the re-
settling which caused the total lack of contact for me: new to Houston, I
couldn't even find computer stores which knew what a BBS was! Finally someone
directed me to a PC users org. Now I've had problems w/my computer & w/off-
line reader, plus numerous time crunches; not to mention we're getting in-
volved w/prison ministry here. If I sound overwhelmed, I am, but I try not
to complain because there are so many real problems in this world.
I just recv'd my video, Corrupted Innocence, from Velma of Reno VOCAL & will
view as soon as I find a new friend w/a video mach. I am still trying to
find the VOCAL conf., so forgive me if it's inappropriate to mention it here
(?). I wrote to Wimberly, pres. of VOCAL, months ago now, w/no response.
Some people wrote to me, I think in the VOCAL conf., whom I will try to write
as soon as I find all my print-out messages. (Moving, they say, is somewhat
like having a fire--I imagine they refer to the disruption to one's life.)
I just posted to Rick Thoma, asking him for input. If you don't mind reading
my msg to him, I'd welcome your opinions/thoughts on the same questions.
So good to find this conference again!
Bless you; may you be overcome by blessings.
