Maybe you should read more carefully.  I simply stated that I was not 
upgrading do to the many problems I have encountered with my Hayes top of the 
line product as compared to my much cheaper Hayes modem.

Pricing or deals had nothing to do with my response.  Personally I don't care 
if Hayes will give me the modem for $20 and my current modem.  I think they 
have quality problems along with lacking documentation.
