subject: Dean`s not Mean!

-> To expound on Dean's comment on the direction this list is taking I
-> would just like to add that although one could argue that gun control
-> and other such related discussion is important and should be
-> exhausted to the fullest extent, I personally was lead to believe
-> that the fun of owning, shooting and maintaining an airgun/rifle was
-> what this particular arena was all about ....maybe I was wrong?
-> Would someone like to redefine the mission of this forum for me
-> please?
The list rules and posting guidelines are auto-posted regularly, but we
had a software problem that prevented that happening for a couple weeks.
As I have stated many times before, it's not possible to separate RKBA
issues from airgunning pleasures, lest we be separated from our airguns.
Still, the list's PRIMARY focus is as stated in the rules, shooting
owning, collecting airguns and shall continue to be. the latest thread
evolved after I cross posted a message of interest and importance to ALL
gun owners to this list, and DTF took issue with it. I shall continue
to post messages of such importance once in a great while, as far too
many airgunners don't get involved in such issues and aren't aware of
them.
As always, no thread on this list need exclude other threads.
the traffic isn't heavy, and there's room for many simultaneous threads.
Anyone who is not interested in a particular thread need not participate
in it, yet may still discuss other things. As to the rare RKBA
postings, perhaps in the future I should post them as "info-only" and
not allow any discussion, but to me that appears like censorship and I
didn't want to go that route. I've yet to understand why someone can't
ignore or delete a message or thread they are not interested in, rather
than want to deny it to others.
