Understood but I was only talking about the end of relationships with a
woman where the only change is that woman is never a part of my future
(from that moment on).  The easiest breakups where when she decided it was
over and that for whatever reason I wasn't Mr. Right, or worse her
soulmate.  :::shudder:::

The two words that actually ended any relationships for me is when I heard
her, whoever 'her' was, say, "If only ..."  That was ALWAYS the
kiss of death for me no matter what happened later.  As soon as those tow
words were uttered it is time to figure out how best to get her to make the
decision to end things as soon as possible without having to resort to
anything too dramatic.
