Hello everyone!
This is a very interesting discussion you're doing right here. So far I've
heard only critical comments on the influence of stress of mirror blanks.
But. . . . . . has anyone made his own experience regarding the amount of
stress that's necessary to make it hard to figure a mirror. Another
important question here is, which influence does internal stress have on
the produced image at the wavefront during cooling for example.
Question over question; luckily there are lot's of experienced people on the list.
