KW> Sandy, I would appreciate anything you have. Though I am not Lutheran, I

You know, Ken... I also include my religion in my children's education, but I
rarely mention the religion by name here, and it seems to keep me out of
trouble with the moderator. He knows my religion and dosen't seem to like it
any more than he likes yours, but /this/ homeschool echo has /always/ been
secular, and in coming here I feel that we must respect the cultural
iversity
here and respect the religious beliefs of others by not promoting our own. I
agree that this is not the place for it, and feel that we are capable of
expressing many things about homeschooling here without adding that
articular
element of our experience.
KW> I personally have quit posting on this echo because of Glen Todd and
KW> would appreciate knowing some other place to share with homeschoolers,
KW> since we currently do not have access to the World Wide Web,etc.
If you want to continue on FidoNet, why not start your own homeschool echo
that will allow you to express your particular religious beliefs? Anyone can
start a FidoNet echo... and it seems that there are enough people here that
have an interest in your particular kind of religion that they would be
interested in supporting an echo on that subject.
However I would like to see people who are committed to the ethical
arameters
of religion making a committment to respect the rules of the moderator here
without complaining. Having a secular homeschool echo is a benefit for all
of us.
