I've been a first person shooter gamer ever since loading up the beta of
DOOM back in the early 90s; while they've gotten more and more complex, I
spend most of my time playing the old shooters.

...Partly because of my older hardware at home (P4 2.2 ghz, ATI Radeon
9250), partly out of nostalgia, but mostly out of respect for the
world-making capabilities of the older games, I still end up playing Quake,
Quake II, and DOOM 1/2.

Zdaemon for DOOM has me intrigued, I'd love to be able to play multiplayer
DOOM again.

Does anyone have any hints for finding and playing Quake/Quake II games on
the internet?
