You are running the application over a network.  I presume then the 
application resides on the Unix server.  As Windows 95 CAN communicate with a 
Unix server using a series of protocols.  You need to keep on thing in 
mind...you are running two different network protocols with a bridge.  You 
cannot expect an application to run as fast over a network as it does on a 
local machine.
