Hey Alexey!

This is theoretically a mesh capable wpa_supplicant-2.6;

---------- :read !ldd /sbin/wpa_supplicant | tr -d '\t'
linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffc8a18f000)
libbfd-2.27.so => /usr/lib/libbfd-2.27.so (0x00007f3a189dc000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00007f3a187d9000)
libz.so.1 => /lib/libz.so.1 (0x00007f3a185c5000)
librt.so.1 => /lib/librt.so.1 (0x00007f3a183be000)
libnl-3.so.200 => /usr/lib/libnl-3.so.200 (0x00007f3a181a1000)
libnl-genl-3.so.200 => /usr/lib/libnl-genl-3.so.200 (0x00007f3a17f9b000)
libssl.so.1.0.0 => /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 (0x00007f3a17d29000)
libcrypto.so.1.0.0 => /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 (0x00007f3a178d3000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007f3a175a6000)
/lib/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f3a18cf7000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x00007f3a1738b000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x00007f3a17105000)
----------

Note that like authsae both openssl and libnl are dependencies but not
libconfig. However libbfd from binutils crept in instead but I think most
(all?) linux systems will have this lib handy.

I'll have to wait until I get my hands on another mesh capable wireless
card/dongle before testing this software but I have confidence that an usb htc
Atheros one ought to be worth the investment. Until then I plan to keep the
current wireless as a hostapd setup just because of the neighbour who needs it.

As for hacking a MIPS based wireless router that may or may not ever happen but
if it does then I'd insist on it being able to mesh network which at this
writing is highly debatable given the Ralink wireless chipset. I've gotten
older ones to work but I am highly skeptical about that particular one (with
RT5350F inside). I have yet to find good documentation on it other than the
usual brag sheets. My best guess is that I don't really need one and what I
have been using is more in line with hardware that will get day to day usage
from me.  :-)

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
