Primarily because there's only so many ways to do the same thing. :-)
I don't think you had the *neato* screen display, though, nor the method of 
handling the multiple numbers for the same BBS.  Not that those additions are 
particularly earth-shattering or anything like that.
I finally moved all my activity to one system and didn't need it any longer.  
Then someone said "Have you thought of becoming a Point?  Here, try this".  
So now I X00, Squish, Bink (and Boink) and all manner of weird and wonderful 
things.  I know for sure "Have you thought of getting your own node number 
and starting a BBS" isn't far off - but I'm resisting it as much as possible.
