 Yes! ... Ofcource it doesn't make any diference!! You need to "say" to telix 
to use fossil(ed) access to the port, to use the fossil driver. If you just 
load it without telling telix to use the fossil driver, it ofcource makes no 
difference! So if telix cannot use a fossil driver ... Try another terminal 
... I believe for DOS the best terminal is Terminate. The latest version is 
4.00.
