Obviously thats changed since the 90's...

It was very very well beaten in to nodes in my area at that time. Thou shalt
get echos via the net hub/NC/ what ever it was... Otherwise you ran the risk of
be expelled..

I also can see one little glitch some where misconfigured and huge amounts of
dupes being moved around... in 2016 via TCP/IP who cares mostly.. in the modem
days... Some one definitely cares real quick.
