I personally uploaded CMMO65A.ZIP to /pub/msdos/inbound.  Remote users
can't upload directly to /pub/msdos/comm/COMMO, otherwise I (or someone
else) would have done that.  The person managing the site must manually
move the file(s) into the COMMO subdirectory. He obviously hadn't
done that by the time of your attempt.

No, but I'd recommend checking the "inbound" directory before you close
your FTP connection.
BTW, whenever there's a new Beta, you don't have to spend a fortune
to get it.  Try 520-290-2807.  Login as "Beta Test" using password
"Guest".  This will get you the latest Beta via an immediate ZModem
download wham, bang, boom!..and auto disconnect after the transfer is
done.
