Unlikely. The wireless devices may (and generally should) be promiscuous on
supporting different peers, including possibly buggy ones - but the wireless
connection must always be considered unsafe and insecure, just like "wild"
Internet is.

The "star" topology with AP in the center and several clients is much more
effective, so you may like to install dedicated AP and assign a separate VLAN
for it.

Low-voltage devices generally don't. Improperly engigeered power supplies do.
