Just a short note to inform everyone that a conference has recently
been added to the backbone by Dave Warwick, and another is currently
in the process of soliciting REC requests for backbone distribution.
While not directly related to the topic at hand, there may be some
information of tangential value to be found in these conferences.

        I just wanted to make a shameless plug for our new echo,
BIRTHMOTHERS! Since nearly 1 in 5 people are touched by the issues of
adoption, there is a need to support not only ADOPTEES (*you _DO_
carry ADOPTEES don't you?*), but those mothers (and fathers) who were
forced, tricked, or co-erced into giving up the baby God had given
them.
        If you thought that most BIRTHMOTHERS "gave away" those
children because they just didn't want them. . .you are sadly
mistaken.
        Link up today, and resolve those issues, or, maybe begin that
search before it is too late.

As for the second conference, someone is currently trying to backbone
FOSTER, which deals with Foster Care issues.  I've put in a request
through my NEC/EC to help it along.
