Yes, I know.  Over the years, I've been on a LOT of different systems. 
I not only have learned the proper Fidonet echotags for all my usual
echos, I've had to learn how to interpret some sysops' description names
in order to find the echos I was looking for...  made even more
interesting when the space allotted for the name wasn't quite long
enough for the entire name so it would get truncated.

I don't know anything about it other than having used it as a user for a
few years, right around Y2K, maybe until 2001 or 2...
