True....  But the HTML would probably need more editing.  And eventually, I
would want to automate putting all the maximus file areas on a web server
in an automated way, in which case the existing HTML would not be needed. 
I've seen some scripts/programs for doing this already, but haven't liked
what I've seen so far.  I think it would be fairly simple to setup static
HTML pages for the download areas from the filearea.ctl and FILES.BBS files
if one already has a web server running.....  Just a matter of scripting
(awk, perl, etc.).

First I need to get Maximus compiling and then running under a Linux based system....
