Of course cars would need more time and money than a home system. But my
home system is a pro system worth more than a precious car like my soon to be
impala SS LT at 45,000 dollars. Besides, car audio is more tricky, phasing,
timing, and soundproofing are major pain in the butts..... Time alignment
from the rear subwoofers vs the car or dash speakers are always going to be
off timed unless you use an adjustable delay system like the alpine or the
audio control crossovers..... Major drag to have subwoofers at the rear, and
inefficient for timing. The bass comes out as a whoomp instead of a thump.
