WS>Gee - I just bought a Timex AM/FM/Cassette clock radio with the new
WS>Indigo night light. Seems to work fine - oh, well. Not something I'm
WS>looking forward to not working. I depend on my clock radio - maybe I'll
I've thought about getting one of those, but felt the light was
too bright. I sleep in almost total darkness. I have little
3x5 index cards to cover my scanner readouts in fact, so I'm
sure the Indigo would be too bright for me. The only light I can
see at night, other than a faint glow coming in at the top of the
window, is the pilot light on my VCR. Hmmmm. Wonder why they call
it a pilot light?
A few years ago I bought a piece of junk clock from that U.S.
Purchasing Exchange. The idea was that you had to whistle or clap
and the clock would flash the time on the ceiling. Just think!
You don't have to disturb your spouse by turning on the light to
see the clock! No, but you have to disturb them by whistling
or clapping.
My grandmother had a pretty neat clock about 30 years ago that would
project the time on the ceiling. I think that clock is still around
somewhere.
