How well I know. Just got back from picking up some Pretty Bird for the
Scarlets. I get the food at a discount, but it takes me 2 1/2 hours to get
there and back. That's with no stops, of course.

Glad it has turned the other way.
So, the brat is coming. Meggie says, "Oh, nooooooo." Maybe you should put
"brat" in the cage so Meggie can have her freedom.
It is hotter than fill in the blank. Can't wait for the first cold front. I
try to work late in the evening on bird projects. Not much gets done at one
time. I need to get three more frames build for cages so I can move the
Timnehs. It sounds simple, but there is a week of cutting trees, killing
poison
oak and moving a fence.
I had a weird dream the other night. In the dream I found a dead Great Bill
chick in the nest box. It was so dead that it looked like leather. I brought
it in anyway and started to handfeed it. Walah! It started growning in leap
and bounds...sort of like a prune that was soaked in water.
Wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple...dehydrated chicks.
Tell Meggie to keep her chin up...brat is only visiting. TTYL, Fran
