We generally like to be addressed as "folks" rather then "people"
and "accept" would be more correct then "exept" in this context

I suggest you might find it useful to participate in some of the
several genealogy echos; where just about everyone is viewed as a
"newbie" (slang for new unexperienced users 8-) and many may be
looking for information on ancestors that have immigrated from
old world countries.
