Hello Stan!

03 Jan 06 21:26, you wrote to Dan Ceppa:

I do not want to have to re-fashion this echoes rules so that in the end
its rules mimic the rules of other echoes, such as but not limited to
POL_INC.

I do know that in the POLITICS echo, Gary Braswell would not allow you for
long to continue on this angle of debate.

I also realize that you have a unique history with Dan here and this echo
has provided you with a renewed opportunity to interact with him, since in
the other echoes you both use:

A. You are banned

B. He is banned

C. You have interest, he doesnt

D. He has interest and you dont

However while I have some insight as to what this history between you and
him are, this echo will not work if the goal is to only relive/replay this
history, this echo is not a VCR or photo album to relive those memories in.

I have given alot more latitude as to the content or rather strength of
statements being made, I am even accused of giving some people more slack
than others, however untrue this is, I am not going to ignore your post
above.

Please do not make me tighten up the rules, if I do then this echo becomes
nothing more than "another polarized" politics echo, where those
who remain can sing to the choir.

For now, I want you to tone it down and while I dont verbosely say "no
personal attacks" in the rules, that does not mean they are permitted,
especially in the way you did it above. Before you post a message to Dan or
whoever else (you know who), read it and ask yourself if you are being
blatent or not.

Please and Thank You.
