BA> It ain't just cars. In parts of California it is illegal to mow your BA> lawn with a gasoline powered mower (those same municipalities will also climb all BA> over you if you *don't* mow your lawn, and won't let you keep sheep on the BA> property). It is also illegal in some parts of that state to barbecue on a grill in BA> the back yard. And it is illegal in some parts of that state to burn your burnable BA> trash in an incinerator that's made and sold for that purpose. Dunno about wood BA> stoves - I do know that in some parts of Colorado they've been outlawed (apparently BA> too many people had them and were burning too much wood in addition to the smoke BA> problem). Except for cutting the grass, I would be a huge criminal if I lived in CA. --- Thunderbird 2.0.0.19 (Windows/20081209)* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
