I'm not sure I follow what is going on.  So there is another company doing
a different branch of the original OS/2 which is not eComStation?

I like what has been done with eComStation.  The main things I would work
on is the networking.  I only use it for the nodes of my BBS.  That
requires good networking support since all the data now resides on Windows.

eCS 2.2 seems to have a mostly solid Samba and EVFS setup - which I am very
happy to report.
