subject: TFW as Telnet Client?

BW| noticed it recognized the Winsock AOL installed and says "Telnet"
  | when it's selected. The question is: Can TFW be used as a telnet
  | client; and how's that accomplished if it can be?
Basically, once you've selected the telnet port, you "dial" by entering
the URL of the site to which you are telnetting as the phone number --
such as 'bbs.delta.com' for the Telix BBS.
You'll probably need to set up a separate configuration file with telnet
as the default connect device, and then set up a shortcut to run TFW
with this configuration file when you want to use it as a telnet client.
If you don't, TFW will try to open the comm port, which, of course, it
can't do, because your internet connection is using it.
