The KTX detects all local telco tones, appears to speed-shift correctly under V.34, and has no trouble maintaining long-term connects (spent in excess of 3 hours connected to my ISP last night). The only real complaint I have is that they connect at 31200 or 33600 far less frequently than the Courier, but aside from that, I cannot fault them in any way at all.
