For the most part, I believe that is true.  Those still developing are
either shareware or commercial on the Windows side, or GPL, shareware or
(maybe) commercial on a Linux type platform.  Unfortunately, Scott's code
was released relatively late.  There are two other projects (MBSE and Husky
/ Fidoconfig) that have taken off before Scott released his code.  I
believe Husky is now (or has) re-integrating Scott's MsgAPI or SquishAPI
(forget the name) so that they can release the Husky package totally under
the GPL.
