 The philistines were before the first Israel. However, the first
 Israel was not Israel, as they did not speak any modern
 language, and you can be sure whatever they called themselves,
 it was neither spelled nor pronounced as we do Israel.

 Playing name games to define a people out of existance is just
 an excuse for ethnic cleansing. It's a game played by those who
 want it all.
