CB>Aren't the most important things in a person's education
CB>the questions?
You make a good point... There is an emphasis on answers to
questions, understandably, but the ability to formulate
questions seems often to be overlooked. Preparing for an
exam is, to a great extent, based upon one's ability to
anticipate questions. Studying, in general, ALSO requires
the formulation of questions which lead to the discovery of
weaknesses or voids in knowledge. Much of the motivation
which a student may have is based upon his/her questions
about the world around them.... Interestingly enough, one
of the very first of the successful teaching methods was
based upon questioning - The Socratic Method..... ;-)
