I know you are joking. I think everyone else does too.

Those who have guns illegally would have them illegally even with tighter
gun control laws. There are 20,000 gun laws on the books already and if
those laws can't keep guns out of the wrong hands, making it harder for
law-abiding citizens to obtain guns won't help in the least.

That's a bit of knowledge the gun-grabbers just can't figure out.

In today's society you don't know who has an illegal gun and who doesn't.
Those who do have no respect for the lives of others anyway.
