I only *wished* that I grew up in the days of those cars.
 
I will say to everyone here that I do remember growing up in the early-mid
80's and watching older kids restoring their "first cars" which
in Saskatchewan at least, were the Firebirds, the Olds and trucks by Chevy
and Ford. *Nobody* was restoring compact cars or anything foreign for that
matter. You'd see the odd guy driving a Toyota Trecel but thats about it.
 
Nowadays I'm watching kids always getting the Honda Civics. I'm not sure
who or what caused that trend... its absolutely sad. Spending all their
money on rims and stereo equipment - more than the car itself is worth.
 
I guess age IS catching up with me, I just don't get it.
