The CNA exam (Admin) test is adaptive and consist of 15 to 25 questions with
a time limit of 30 minutes. Being adaptive, you will get questions of
medium hardness. If you miss it, you will get an easier one, and if you get
it right, you will get a tougher one.

Be careful of the performance questions. I had two performance questions on
the exam (had 15 questions), but I have heard of people getting 6
performance questions (out of 25 questions). Make sure you know how to do
things in differnet ways. Netware Administrator in the test only allows you
to do things in a particular way.

The test wasn't really that bad. I had used the Self-Test software and
CNEQuizr software. I believe the CNEQuizr software is the best software
around for the Novell Tests. I found several questions in CNEQuizr that was
the exact questions I had in the test. Their url is www.certify.com.
Their prices are also very reasonable. However, the software is copy
protected.

As for books, I did not like the Novell Press books. I had the Clarke book
and found it jumps around quite a bit. I purchased the student manual for
the Admin class from a local Authorized Education Center. They were not
cheap, but everything in the test is in that book. A good study guide I
highly recommend is the CNE Testing Guide for IntranetWare by Sybex. The
summary and questions in this books were the exact same wording as in the
student manual.

I would say know mapping, printing, naming conventions, how to create
objects, rights. I would not worry about partitions and time
synchronizations You'll get that when you take the Design and
Implementation test.

Good luck with your test.
