A method that we use on RC planes all the time (don't know how well it
would work on the inside of a car body) is to mask normally, the spray
a light coat of clear over the tape. The clear will leach under the
tape edges, but who cares... it's clear... anyways, the clear will seal
the edges, so the color coat won't seep under it.
When removing the tape, pull at a VERY sharp angle.
