I am using the word respect as it pertains to the actual feeling of respect without any regard to the idea of the need for the latitude that is required in order to maintain social order. I believe I've said this before but I also know that I am often criticized for not being clear so ... I hope we understand each other now. I think we do. Yes but if respect needs to be forced in the first place then insincerity would have to be built in. That is why I chose to definet respect as the real feeling without the latitude part. The point is that I do recognize that the latitude is required in day to day dealings with others but in all honesty that doesn't mean I really respect these people although most people that I do deal with on a day to day basis I do happen to respect. That isn't always true though.
