As per usual, there is never any rush.  Speaking for myself it is no worse than
silly people believing that cp437 is upper/higher ascii and spreading that
crappy encoding around for the last 30 years or so.

Mind you that isn't really saying much since cp866 is just as lame as cp437 as
well as all the rest of the 8 bit encodings while we're at it.
