The crafts are just as necessary as other jobs... in fact, in some
cases, more important...  Of course both those crafts have been mostly
supplanted by industry... :(

Or were caused by many a war, as well...   My Alsace-Lorraine ancestors
were all German... but that territory kept changing hands between the
French and the German...
