Tom was saying that the Dynalink was better than the Sportster because it
connected at 33.6k, (or 31.2k), while the Sportster only connected at
28.8k.

I replied by stating that while the Dynalink connected at a faster speed,
the fact that the Sportster could use V.42bis would result in it
transferring data at a greater speed than the Dynalink with it's broken
V.42bis, (remember, we were talking about the Web, where lot's of stuff can
be compressed when being downloaded).

I then babbled on with some connection statistics to prove my point, which
have no doubt confused everyone who read them. I just re-read it, and even
I find it confusing :-)
