| subject: | Sharing problemo`s.... |
David, the guru, the master of "see"!!
Desperation has struck me - I have come across bad sharing violation
problems when running UniTrim (my product) in a multitasking environment.
My question is basically this: is it silly/dangerous/stupid/insane to mix
file handles and buffered, high-level I/O??
My theory is that I'm mixing low and high level, and when closing off the
handles, UniTrim is closing the wrong files. Is this possible? I've had
to mix the two because basically, the low level is slow, and I only need to
open in a sharing mode two files, normally only one at a time, and the rest
need not be in a sharing mode.
Got any resolutions?
