I had that problem with my Netware 5 server when I first set it 
up....if I remember correctly, it was a driver problem for my HDD

Can  you go to http://support.novell.com/misc/patlst.htm
and get confg8.exe.  Copy config.nlm to your SYS:\SYSTEM directory, and 
then at the console prompt type LOAD CONFIG /s. 

*Edit the resulting config.txt file to remove your serial number* and  
cut and paste the file into your message or attach the config.txt to 
your reply.
