i have updated most working ebuilds now to latest repoman stable, so in case
you miss some updates it should now work better then before

i am still intrested to see more fidonet opensource on github, and have
developpers add patches there, this way more gentoo maintainer could help make
bug reports if any to get bugs solved, example here i know qico have ipv6
patches, but i still miss it in gentoo to work, eq how to make qico bind to
ipv6 is aswell an issue since i just use xinetd with DO support ipv6 just fine
without any patches, but qico needs patches to call ipv6 only hosts !

emerge --sync
emerge layman
layman -S
layman -a fidonet

enjoy

example on installing rntrack 1.33

emerge --autounmask-write rntrack
etc-update
emerge rntrack

when installed and like to update

emerge @live-rebuild
