        FWIW, I never touched that "windowed" option. First time I use
 BW on a new system, I hit as you mentioned, the old DOS command of
 ALT-Enter and it goes full screen, then it has that memorized, it
 seems, as it will always run full screen. Mind you, my screen on this
 Thinkpad is not the 1064-768 type and I get a 1" black frame around it.
 On my Athlon system back home, I have an LCD screen that is capable of
 the full pixel screen and on that one BW goes margin to margin.

        I do not think that I helped you much, if I remember, I will go
 and toy with this "windowed" option and see if I can mess it up. ;-)
